XPize is a GUI enhancer that replaces most of the non-XP icons, avis and bmps on your desktop.
The program also includes some extras and a reloader, which you can use after visiting Windows Update.

As of July 14th, 2008, the project has been discontinued, as you can read in its page.

XPize works on Windows XP and Windows 2003 in all Language Versions. 64-bit versions of Windows are NOT supported

You´ll need to have .NET Framework 2.0 installed (required for XPize Settings) and a 32-bit color quality display.

Once the program is installed, it will automatically change your background and mouse pointers, and recommend you to reboot. You will then see that the screens displayed while Windows loads also changed. TaskSwitchPro is installed, too.

When you´re back after reboot, you will be able to change the appearance of Windows. In the "Icons" tab you will be able to change the size of the icons in your desktop, from the current 32 point to the giant 128 point.

In "Desktop" you can change the layout of the icons, and their background (Transparent or a Custom Color)

The "Manifest" tab lets you give your old applications and XP style. "Misc" will let you choose when to load the program, if you will save on close and which components do you want to load.
